This international symposium
titled �Media and Politics� will be organized by Ege University
Faculty of Communication for the first time in Izmir, aims to
discuss the interdependence of these two issues from a wide
perspective of different theoretical approaches, rather than asking
the limited question of whether media effects politics or vice
versa. A critical scrutiny on the matter, might help us to rethink
politics and remember the ability of our common will on a political
praxis, apart from the academic and intellectual richness of the
matter.
There will be a conference which takes
2 days with the academicians about media and politics. These
academicians , who will participate in this symposium , have
different exxperiences in national and international area. We
believe in this unity leads qualified conference with the
participation of politicians, press associations, academicians and
who are specially interested in media and politics.
